Kiwifruit Packhouse workers

We have a variety of positions available in a kiwifruit packhouse for the 2026 harvest season commencing in March in the Paengaroa area including but not limited to packing, sorting, stacking, strapping, tray preparation, grading, repacking, cleaning and general maintenance work. This is a fixed term contract March to June 2026. This work requires being on your feet for long periods therefore some level of fitness is required. Full time and part-time work available. Those opting for part time work will be expected to work full days but on selected days and will be considered on a job share basis. Flexible days, competitive rates. As the fruit is packed for export purposes there are clear requirements to follow which will be outlined to you by the employer. For health and safety reasons, closed footwear must be worn – sneakers are suitable. You will require secured accommodation within daily travel distance. Job Requirements
Convictions - Case by case basis but excludes any sexual-related conviction, theft, serious assault based on timeframe since last offence and drug-related offences. Be able to pass a drug test - this is a zero-tolerance facility Minimal Restricted License with own transport required No experience is required Pre-employment drug test required for all machinery operator positions. ID, Birth Cert, or Passport and bank account required.
