Vacancy: Experienced Cleaner Location: Central Auckland

An Auckland-based employer is seeking experienced Cleaners to join their team across Central Auckland.

Key Responsibilities: - Maintain high standards of cleanliness, including houses, toilets, kitchens, and all living/work areas. - Empty containers, bins, and trays, and dispose of rubbish and recyclable materials correctly. - Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to clean floors, work areas, and machinery efficiently. - Use appropriate acids and solvents to clean surfaces, remove stains and dirt, strip old wax from floors, reapply wax, and polish floors. - Conduct regular inspections and cleaning activities to maintain cleanliness standards. - Clean and disinfect bathrooms and other wet areas, and report any faulty equipment to management. - Monitor cleaning supplies and replenish as required. - Report any maintenance issues, deficiencies, or repairs needed to management.

Ideal Candidate must the following: - Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties. - Holds a valid driver’s licence and has reliable transport. - Minimum 6 months’ experience in residential cleaning. - Knowledge of OH&S procedures, cleaning chemicals, and safe work practices. - Strong customer service skills. - Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to follow instructions. - Must successfully pass police vetting and pre-employment drug testing.
