We are seeking experienced Asphalt Workers, This role involves carrying out asphalt paving, patching and reinstatement works across a range of commercial and residential projects throughout the Wellington region.
If you know your way around hot mix, show up on time, and take pride in doing the job properly, we want to hear from you.
You will work as part of team delivering high quality roading and surfacing works while maintaining strong safety and workmanship standards.
Key Responsibilities: -Laying, spreading and compacting asphalt -Patching and reinstatement works -Operating hand tools and plant (where qualified) -Assisting with site preparation and clean-up -Following site safety, traffic management and quality procedures -Working efficiently as part of a team to meet job deadlines
Job Requirements
Previous experience in asphalt, roading or civil works
Physically fit and able to work long hours when required
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Health and safety focused
Class 1 driver licence (Class 2 and WTR endorsements an advantage)
