Forestry Pruner
About this job
- Pruning and thinning young pine trees to improve tree form and forest health - Using hand tools such as handsaws and loppers - Working in small teams across various forest blocks - Maintaining safe work practices at all times - Meeting daily productivity targets while ensuring quality standards
Job Requirements
- Good physical fitness and stamina - Ability to work in all weather conditions - A positive attitude and willingness to learn - The ability to pass a drug test - Must be able to stay out of town as required - Previous forestry highly desired, they employer is willing to consider candidates with no forestry experience but experience in the agriculture or horticulture sectors also.
