Freight Unloader - 3 month Fixed Term

The Night Loader is responsible for loading / unloading freight between the Dock Way and the truck in a safe way whilst ensuring the quality and security of the products. Operating forklifts, pallets jacks and other material handling equipment to move goods within the warehouse and onto trucks. You'll be required to sweep floors, disposing of packaging materials and maintaining overall cleanliness in the warehouse. You'll need to communicate with truck drivers and other warehouse staff to co-ordinate loading activities, reporting any issues or delays and ensure smooth operations. This is a 3-month Fixed Term role and you'll be required to start ASAP, so don't delay your call to action.

No experience required. Must be physically fit with no injuries that would impact on your ability to lift, load & move freight. Able to pass an MOJ check. Random drug testing may be carried out. You must be flexible as often freight movement is at the whim of ferry delays. You'll be able to manage workload ensuring you meet deadlines, be organised with paperwork and be a good team player. Candidates with criminal convictions cannot be considered.
