A growing construction company based in Flat Bush, Auckland is seeking motivated Plasterer Assistants to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to build a career in the construction industry, with on-the-job training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Moving construction materials such as plasterboards, insulation, panels, tools, and equipment around building sites - Cleaning building sites before, during, and after plastering work - Assisting with measuring, marking, and cutting plasterboards - Supporting the placement and setup of plasterboards and panels - Assisting with fixing and coating plaster, cement, and render - Helping with insulation and decorative finishing work - Using tools safely and following instructions from qualified plasterers - Collecting, maintaining, and storing tools after work - Adhering to company health and safety policies and procedures - Attending site meetings as required - Ensuring company vehicles are used in a safe and responsible manner
Job Requirements
- Entry-level experience (6 months to 2 years preferred) - Have Level 1 NCEA - Level 3 certificate or at least 1 year of experience - Willingness to learn and follow instructions - MUST pass police check and drug test
- Days of work
- 7am - 3pm (hours may change depending on site requirements) Monday - Saturday (30 hours per week)
