A Tamahere based employer is on the lookout for a skilled Auto Electrician to join their growing team in Hamilton. They specialise in the design and build of bespoke vehicles for customers across New Zealand from frontline ambulances and police vehicles through to heavy transport and specialist fit-outs. This role offers the chance to work on unique projects where no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a motivated crew that takes pride in delivering high-quality work to some of the country’s most critical fleets.
Key responsibilities:
Manufacturing and installing vehicle wiring harnesses Installing and commissioning new componentry across a wide range of specialist vehicles Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults Working alongside our design, fabrication, and fit-out teams to deliver turnkey solutions Ensuring all work meets compliance and safety standards

Job Requirements
-Qualified Auto Electrician (or proven industry experience) -Must have experience manufacturing wiring harnesses and installing new componentry -Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills -Experience with air conditioning is beneficial -Ability to read wiring diagrams and work with modern vehicle electronics -A team player with pride in their workmanship -Flexibility to adapt across different projects and vehicle type -Pass an in depth police check

- Monday to Friday - 9am - 5pm (40 hours per week)
