A Canterbury-based electrical wholesaler is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented part-time Operations Support Coordinator (Administration, Warehouse & Transport) to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting our administration, warehouse, and delivery operations.
The role is 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with the potential for additional hours as required (flexible working hours may be provided for the right candidate)
This position suits someone who enjoys accurate data entry, staying organised, and contributing across multiple areas of the business while bringing a positive attitude and sense of humour to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration & Data Entry • Accurate data entry of stock invoices • Daily reconciliations and month-end processing • Maintaining accurate stock, pricing, and system records • Answering phones and responding to customer enquiries and requests
Warehouse Support • Receiving incoming stock and putting it away correctly • Assisting with stock control and organisation • Helping keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and well organised • General warehouse duties and cleaning as required
Transport & Relief Driving • Delivery and pick-up driving as required • Supporting transport and logistics to ensure timely customer service
Job Requirements
Job Related Experience; Demonstrated experience in Data Entry (preference for stock invoices / daily reconciliations etc) Full Class 1 License Ability to pass Ministry of Justice check and a Pre-Employment Drug test Physically able to lift up to 20kgs consistently
Personal Attributes; High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy Reliable, punctual, and well organised Positive attitude and strong work ethic Practical, hands-on approach and willingness to help where needed Good sense of humour and ability to fit into a friendly, down-to-earth team
Preferred Requirements: - Previous Electrical Industry Experience
