About this job
East Otago business seeking kitchenhands. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy restaurant and bar kitchen.
Daily tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: • Operating and maintaining the commercial dishwasher, ensuring all dishes, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitised to food safety standards. • Assisting with general kitchen cleaning duties, including benches, floors, sinks, storage areas, cool rooms, and waste disposal areas. • Supporting chefs with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, chopping, shredding, and grating ingredients for service. • Receiving and unpacking deliveries, checking items against delivery dockets, and storing goods correctly according to food safety and temperature requirements.
Job Requirements
Must be able to pass a police and drug test.

- 32 hours - Tues - Sun. Hours mainly between 11am - 3pm and 5pm - 9pm (32 hours per week)
