About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Removal Supervisor to join our growing demolition business. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role supervising asbestos removal projects across a range of residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
You will be responsible for leading teams on site, ensuring all asbestos removal work is completed safely, compliantly, and to a high standard, while maintaining strong health and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate asbestos removal teams on site • Ensure compliance with WorkSafe NZ regulations and approved asbestos management plans • Lead and promote strong health and safety culture • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing training • Monitor job progress, quality, and productivity • Liaise with project managers, clients, and inspectors • Complete required documentation and reporting • Mentor and develop team members
About You
You will be a motivated and experienced supervisor with strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of asbestos removal regulations in New Zealand.

Job Requirements
Essential Requirements:
• Current Asbestos Supervisor Certification – A and/or B Class • Full NZ Driver Licence • Proven experience supervising asbestos removal projects • Strong knowledge of health and safety systems and WorkSafe NZ requirements • Ability to lead, train, and motivate teams • Excellent communication and organisational skills • Reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitude • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test • Convictions will be considered on a case-by-case basis
