Duty Manager
About this job
Hanmer based business seeks a full time Bar Attendant and Duty Manager. The ideal candidate will have emphasis on exceptional customer service.
General duties include - Food and Beverage service Gaming room supervision Cash register and POS operations Providing leadership to other staff Full adherence to the licensing/health and safety requirements Manging customer feedback and complaints Liaise with General Manager
Suitable candidate will be someone who is a team player within a small team in a local, community based venue. Enjoy sports, lively conversations and busy weekends.
Single person accommodation may also be available.
Job Requirements
Strong knowledge of NZ cuisine and beverages. Experience in supervision/management roles preferred. Advanced English. Excellent leadership skills. A calm, efficient and effective approach when under pressure. Cash handling experience. Extensive understanding of NZ sale and supply of alcohol laws. Current Managers Certificate.
