Oyster Process Workers / Harvesters - Kawakawa
About this job
Core objectives include: • Loading and unloading trucks for delivery of inward goods and outward goods • Culling, grading, opening, washing, bathing oysters in brine and freezing • Packing oysters fresh and frozen for local and export market, ensuring every product meeting quality standard • Serving and assisting customers in retail and take away shop, processing sales, money handling, managing inventory and maintain store appearance • General factory duties including tidying, sweeping, cleaning equipment as required • Hold and supply tools to qualified staff • Ensure all duties are conducted in line with current H&S standards • Serving customers in retail and take away shop The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company.
Job Requirements
Driver's License, MOJ and Drug Screen Required Previous experience preferred some initial training offered

- Retail: Mon - Sun 8am – 5pm Processing Plant: Mond - Sun 7am – 7pm Farm Operations: Mon - Sun 6am – 7pm (30 hours per week)
