Class 5 Tipper Truck Driver

Auckland based Employer is looking for an experienced and a reliable Class 5 Tipper Truck Driver. This role is primarily based in Auckland, with occasional travel outside Auckland to Tauranga as required. Key Responsibilities: - Operate Class 5 tipper trucks safely and in compliance with road rules and company policies - Transport, load and unload asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials - Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure trucks are in safe working condition - Maintain accurate delivery records, including timesheets and delivery logs - Work closely with site supervisors, dispatchers, and team members to meet project deadlines - Follow all health and safety procedures -Support general labouring duties on-site when needed

Full Class 5 Driver Licence - Minimum 6 months’ experience driving tipper trucks - Physically fit, as loading and unloading of materials is required - Reliable transport to and from work - Must be able to pass a drug test and MOJ (Ministry of Justice) check - Experience with hot mix, spreading and operating machinery - Strong reversing and spatial awareness (skill is crucial for safe and confident driving, particularly during parking and navigating tight spaces)
