About this job
Part time experienced Barista with six months experience able to make all coffee types required for extremely busy Avondale Cafe for 20 - 30 hours a week. Early 6.00am starts required, and own transport from Monday-Friday.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Prepare high-quality coffees with speed and precision.
• Handle POS / cash
• Providing friendly, attentive, and efficient customer service.
• Maintaining cleanliness/organisation of the coffee station/equipment and front-of-house areas.
• Engage positively with customers • Help out cafe manager as required.

Job Requirements
Must: • Proven experience as a barista and able to make all kinds of coffee and have at last 6 months experience
• Have a genuine passion for hospitality and coffee
• Having a Food Safety Certificate would be an advantage but not essential
• Have own transport for early starts at 6.00am in Rosebank Road
• Restricted Driver’s licence
• Able to work in a very fast-paced environment
• Pass MOJ police check
• Candidates must be drug free and be willing to undergo a drug test if required • Be clean, organised, and maintain high food hygiene standards. • Be reliable and efficient

- Monday to Friday 6am to 12 or 7 to 1.00pm 20-30 hours per week as per roster (20 hours per week)
