An engineering/fabrication business who specialises in manufacturing of food processing machinery has a great opportunity for an entry level Trade Assistant. Duties involve assisting with lifting, loading, cutting, drilling, packing up of equipment, general workshop clean up, emptying bins, sorting scrap and aciding of welds
Job Requirements
Although this is an entry level position, candidates need to have a basic knowledge of the engineering trade and have an interest in engineering. Some experience with using engineering hand tools such as drills, grinders, cutting saws and measuring equipment is required. You will also be physically fit, able to undertake heavy lifting, health and safety conscious, have a positive attitude, keen to learn and pass a drug test. Court convictions considered on a case by case basis.
