About the Role You will be responsible for preparing food for our cafe kitchen, including: • Cooking meals from an established menu • Preparing hot cabinet, warmer items for daily sale • Making salads and takeaway food • General kitchen prep and organisation • Maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards
What We’re Looking For • Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred (but not essential for the right person) • Ability to start early and be punctual and reliable • Good basic cooking skills and attention to detail • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Hours & Roster • Early morning starts: 4am - 1pm but will vary a little • 4 days per week, including one weekend day on a rotating roster • Approximately 30 hours per week
$24 - $26 per hour
Job Requirements
Must be punctual Have basic cooking skills, experience preferred however, training is available for the right person. Must have a positive can do attitude
