Dispatch Operator

This Dry-Cleaning factory is on the hunt for a Dispatch Operator to join their busy team, as one of our permanent crew members is heading overseas. This is a hands-on role in our dispatch area and would suit someone reliable, practical, and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing: • Loading and unloading bins on and off trucks • Operating a forklift in shared and sometimes tight spaces • Manual handling – lifting 20kg bags regularly (around 100 bags daily) • Processing customer orders using our coloured tag system • Learning admin and order processing tasks, with automation coming in 2026

Job Requirements
Is this you?: • Forklift licence with solid, real-world experience (not newly qualified) • Confident operating a forklift around pedestrians and in small spaces • Physically fit and able to lift 20kg consistently • Good literacy skills and attention to detail • Not colour blind (due to colour tag system) Suitable candidates must be able to pass a MOJ check and a pre-employment drug test.

- Busy season (Feb-May): 40+ hrs per week Mon to Fri 8am-4:30pm (Off season hrs are typically: 6am – 2:30pm or 7am–3:30pm). (40 hours per week)
