Apple Pickers

We're looking for enthusiastic apple pickers to join our orchard team in Lower Moutere/Motueka, starting approximately mid Feb to mid May. Apple picking is carried out using ladders and picking bags. This role is physically demanding and involves harvesting apples carefully to meet quality and grade standards. Pickers must be able to work safely at heights, follow food safety and hygiene requirements, and handle fruit with care. A good level of physical fitness, the ability to work outdoors in warm weather, and reliable transport is required. **Petrol assistance may be available from MSD for the term of the contract**
Job Requirements
What You'll Need: • Physical fitness and stamina for moderate to high levels of activity • Comfortable working outdoors and able to stand for long periods • Good balance and confidence climbing ladders • Own transport is essential (various orchard locations) • Reliable, with a good work ethic and attention to detail • Able to follow instructions, work independently, and maintain focus Other Requirements: • Must disclose any criminal convictions (decisions made on a case-by-case basis) • Drug testing may apply where use is suspected • No tolerance for drugs or alcohol at work

- Monday – Friday 7.30 am to 4.00 pm with occasional Saturday when required (35 hours per week)

- $23.50 and contract rates for the right candidate. No wet day work
