Wratten Orchards Ltd located in Lower Moutere require packhouse workers who will take responsibility for sorting, grading and packing apples for the export markets from late February to mid June. This position requires you to be comfortable standing on your feet for periods of time, working in a fast past environment and have an eye for detail. We are looking for someone who: -Is able to work within a team -Enjoys being flexible and adjusting to changes -Has a strong attention to detail and believes in creating a quality product -Is able to follow instructions and is aware of employee safety and food safety requirements. Must have own reliable transport. Job description: -Sorting - visually inspecting apples on conveyor belts to separate high-quality from blemished -Packing - assembling and packing apples into boxes for the local and export markets. -Communicating - communicating with packing teams, supervisors and quality control to optimise fruit quality

Job Requirements

This position requires you to be comfortable standing on your feet for periods of time, working in a fast past environment and have an eye for detail. Experience is not necessary; training will be given. Drug testing will be conducted if use is suspected.

Days of work
Monday – Friday 7.30am – 5pm and Saturdays 7.30am – 3pm (52 hours per week)
