Te Puke-based orchard contractor is seeking 2 Assistant Managers to: - Manage a team of workers each, including recruiting/interviewing and training them and work output. - Have responsibility for orchards “year-round” canopy work operations under the guidance and supervision of an Orchard Manager.
Job Requirements
Experienced in all aspects of kiwifruit orchard work. Orchard supervisory experience, managing budgeted costs and client management is desirable, but more important is enthusiasm, a great attitude and passion to join their team! - Fit and able for physical demands of role - Class 1 drivers' license (Full or Restricted) - Pre-employment drug test - Ministry of Justice check (potential for case-by-case consideration)
- Days of work
- Work can run to 6 days out of 7 and across 7 days of the week, particularly during season. Hours generally 7:30am - 5:30/6pm (32 hours per week)
