Fast paced, Cafe in Avondale seeking an experienced Cafe Chef/Cook for preparing in-house cabinet food and breakfasts.
Must be clean, organised, and maintain high food hygiene standards and have a Food Safety Certificate.
Reliable and efficient and ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.
Prepare, cook and plate breakfast, brunch and lunch menu items to a high standard. Proficient at making eggs/avocado on toast, salads, burgers, soups, pies, sandwiches and pasta dishes.
Job Requirements
• Be able to make all listed foods-eggs/avocado on toast, salads, burgers, soups, pies, sandwiches and pasta dishes.
• Have at least two years’ chef/Cook experience.
• Having a Food Safety Certificate would be would be an advantage but not essential. Be clean, organised, and maintain high food hygiene standards.
• Be reliable and efficient. Have own transport for early starts at 6.00am in Rosebank Road.
• At least Restricted Driver’s licence.
• Able to work in a very fast-paced environment.
• Pass drug and MOJ police check.
- Days of work
- Monday to Friday From 6.00 am – up to 3.00pm depending on roster and busy periods, 25 - 40 hours week (30 hours per week)
