Newly redone backpackers are seeking a friendly, reliable Receptionist/Cleaner to join their hospitality team. This is a dual-role position that combines front desk reception duties with cleaning and housekeeping responsibilities. You will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling enquiries, processing payments, and delivering excellent customer service, while also maintaining high standards of cleanliness across guest rooms and shared areas. This role is essential in ensuring guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout their stay.
Job Requirements
Previous hotel or motel reception experience Strong customer service skills with a bubbly, positive personality Confident communication skills and a professional, friendly manner Ability to work independently and as part of a team Criminal convictions may be considered on a case-by-case basis for the right applicant Must be reliable

- Ability to work across a 7-day roster Shifts are approximately 6am – 12pm Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays (30 hours per week)
