About this job

A well-established academy based in central Auckland is seeking a skilled and motivated Muay Thai Trainer to join its team. The role involves conducting Muay Thai group classes for both children and adults, delivering individual (private) training sessions, and providing sports massage services where required. The trainer will also assist with workshops, demonstrations, and events, support general gym operations, and contribute to the overall day-to-day activities of the academy. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the gym and training areas is essential, along with complying with all policies, procedures, and reasonable instructions of the Employer.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Muay Thai trainer or coach • Ability to safely and effectively train both children and adults • Relevant Muay Thai, fitness, or coaching certifications (preferred) • Sports massage qualification or experience is an advantage • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Professional, reliable, and punctual • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Commitment to health, safety, and hygiene standards • Must Pass MOJ and Drug test • Have reliable transport to commute

Days of work
Monday to Friday 60-90 minute classes at 7am, 12pm, 5pm, 6pm and 7pm (30 hours per week)
