The ideal candidate should have the following: • Have good knowledge of Structured Data Cabling installations, preferably both Copper and Fibre optic, with an understanding of relevant industry standards and practices • Ideally, you will have 2-3 years of experience and the ability to read and understand technical documents, specifications, schedules and drawings. • Have installed one or more of the following manufacturers cabling systems: Krone / TE Connectivity / AMP / CommScope / Schneider-Actassi / Hubbell / MMC / Oplinx / AFL / Legrande Using Fluke DSX network tester and Fusion Splicers would be an advantage • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks whether working alone or in a team environment • A great work ethic with a “let’s get the job done” attitude. • Maintain accurate records of job work hours and provide other administrative functions such as job notes. • Plan and coordinate on-site resources and materials, including installation and testing. • Be methodical and accurate in your work. • Happy to follow health and safety procedures. • Be fit and healthy to meet the job’s physical demands. • Pass a criminal conviction check • Pass pre-employment drug test
