An Auckland Airport Precinct–based airline catering company is seeking a full-time Commis Chef / Demi Chef to join their high-performing kitchen team. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic chef with experience in multi-cuisine and high-volume production kitchens.

In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: - Producing food items on time and to specification to meet daily production targets - Ensuring all food meets strict food safety, quality, and customer requirements - Minimising product wastage and accurately accounting for materials from raw ingredients through to finished products - Following all health and safety procedures and actively participating in health and safety management - Working within your section to consistently deliver high-quality food - Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors

Based within the Auckland Airport Precinct, the operation runs seven days a week and adheres to strict aviation, food safety, and security standards. Job Requirements

- A strong, practical chef who enjoys working within a section and consistently producing high-quality food - Recognised culinary qualification meeting or exceeding NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Culinary Skills or City & Guilds 7100 Level 3 Diploma - Minimum of 6 months’ relevant kitchen experience (will be considered) - Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on presentation standards - Ability to work rostered shifts Monday to Sunday, including weekends (5 days per week) - Clean MOJ / Police record (required due to airport location) - Strong written and spoken English communication skills - Two contactable work references from previous employers - Full driver licence preferred due to operational hours; reliable transport is essential

$25 per hour (commis), Asian cuisine (Demi Chef @$30.06 an hour)
