Experienced Warehouse Worker

An Albany based building supply company is looking for an Experienced Warehouse Worker. For this role you will need a broad range of skills every thing from pick, pack, dispatch to managing customer enquiries, sales and service, driving deliveries and de-vanning containers, (MAF certification plus F endorsement would be a bonus), Forklift licence is a must.

Responsibilities: 1. Ensuring that service levels exceed expectations 2. Maintain a clean, and tidy warehouse and service counter and safe workplace a. Shelves neatly stacked b. Empty boxes removed c. Dispatch area tidied and main floor swept daily d. All other areas swept or vacuumed regularly 3 Driving deliveries, including hand loading and unloading. 4 Managing customer enquiries via phone, email and face to face interaction 5 Pick pack and dispatch orders to meet daily cut off dispatch deadlines with all orders are picked accurately and efficiently. 7 Careful handling of all inwards and outwards goods 8 Assist with stock takes 9 De-vanning of containers (MAF checks) 10 Loading/unloading trucks using a fork hoist. 12 Trade counter work, includes serving cash and account customers 13 Assisting customers with product enquiries and engaging with product training to build knowledge and better serve customers. 15 Assisting customers with loading products into vehicles 16 Re-stocking shop to ensure all products are on display. 17 Occasional opening , closing and cash-up
