The Digital Coach (Digi-Coach) is a community-focused role that provides hands-on digital support within libraries and community centres to empower individuals with essential digital skills. As Digital Coach, you will play a key part in making technology more accessible, helping people gain confidence in using digital tools, and support a digitally inclusive Aotearoa. This role is offered in partnership with the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) and aims to provide employment pathways for those entering or re-entering the workforce. Ideal candidates will embody empathy, patience, and adaptability while engaging with diverse community members, including those limited digital experience.
Job Requirements
No formal qualifications are required; however, prior experience in customer service, education, or community engagement is a plus. A keen interest in technology and the ability to support others in learning digital skills. Willingness to commit to consistent work hours and maintain a professional, presentable appearance. Able to use a laptop computer or Chromebook.
