An East Tamaki, Auckland–based manufacturing company is seeking a full-time Aluminium Fabrication Welder to join their team. The company has over 35 years’ experience manufacturing and supplying a wide range of steel and aluminium products.
In this role, you will be responsible for the collation, preparation, and fabrication of aluminium cable ladders and electrical/mechanical support bracketry. The ability to weld aluminium using MIG is essential.
Key Tasks Include: - Collation, preparation, and fabrication of aluminium cable ladders - Fabrication of electrical and mechanical support bracketry - Using precision measurement tools to ensure accuracy - Carrying out quality control checks on completed work - Working independently to meet production and quality standards

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience or demonstrated ability in aluminium fabrication or welding - Aluminium MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding experience (essential) - Ability to use precision measurement tools accurately - Strong attention to detail and quality control - Mechanical aptitude and practical, hands-on skills - Ability to work independently and follow instructions - Physically fit and able to carry out fabrication tasks - Strong awareness of health and safety requirements - Reliable attendance and punctuality - Minimum Restricted Driver License with reliable transport to get to work - Willingness to work overtime when required - Must be able to pass Ministry of Justice check

- Monday to Friday - 7:00am to 3.30pm (Overtime maybe required based on work requirements) (40 hours per week)
