C3 Picton are looking to hire reliable and experienced casual loader operators for heavy forestry machinery. The role involves operating Wagners, high stackers and pivot steer heavy machinery to load/unload logging trucks/barges and stack logs ready for loading onto log vessels in a port environment. This is a 7 day a week operation where flexibility with working hours is required as there are a range of shifts required to cover this operation, which includes working nights when log vessels are loading. At this stage we only have casual hours available. Experience in a port environment and/or forestry experience would be highly regarded, as well as an ability to operate log loading machinery. Job Requirements
Essential requirements for the position are: • Experience in operating pivot steer log loaders & high stackers • A minimum of a full Class 1 licence with W endorsement • Pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol testing • Pass a pre-employment MOJ check • A strong focus on Health and Safety • An ability to work to deadlines • Flexibility and reliability • A positive approach towards teamwork
A pre-employment practical test may be required to demonstrate your abilities as part of the selection process.

- As this is casual role it will be as you are needed. Your hours will fall within shift times of: 05:30-14:00 and 09:00 to 17:30 (30 hours per week)
