Supports the General Manager in the smooth daily operation of the restaurant and bar, leading by example on the floor. They are hands-on during service, ensuring sections are running well, guests are welcomed warmly, and standards of service, cleanliness, and professionalism are upheld at all times. They assist with staff allocations, breaks, and real-time decision-making based on weather, bookings, and walk-ins. The role includes assisting on coaching team members during service, reinforcing structure, communication, and teamwork while maintaining a calm, positive presence. Helps oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, basic reporting, and follows up on operational tasks. They act as a bridge between the team and management, protecting the culture, supporting the staff, and helping the upper management keep the service flowing efficiently and with heart. Based in Wynyard Quarter, Auckland Central.

Job Requirements

Must have 2-4 years experience in a similar role Proactive and reliable Must be able to work rostered shifts between hours of 10am to 3am.
