Retail Sales Assistant - Pizza

A Panmure based Pizza establishment is looking for a Sales Assistant. The orders are mainly online. This role will include Determining customer requirements, dietary needs and advising on products, price and estimated time the food will be ready and in case it is a delivery the estimated time the food will be delivered.

Explaining to customers the food items out of the menu and the ingredients. Selling food, beverages and accepting payment from customers by a variety of payment methods and preparing sales invoices.

Accept online orders, pack and give them to customers in premises on time. Closing point of sale end of day to match transactions and cash in the till. Listen to customer complaints and try to resolve them otherwise to refer to the Director.

Packing and wrapping food as per the company policy before handing over to the customer. Participating in stock takes from time to time and assisting in ongoing management of stock. Perform any other duties as reasonably requested by the Director.

Previous relevant experience will be preferred although not essential. Training will be provided to the right candidate. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays as required. Ability to work on feet for extended periods. The ideal person will have great customer service skills & have references to confirm reliability
