About this job
Small locally owned convenience store in Taneatua seeking 2 Retail Shop Assistants to join their friendly team. You will play an important role in keeping the store running smoothly, providing excellent customer service, and supporting day-to-day operations. This includes assisting with sales, maintaining stock and displays, and helping with store upkeep. Key Responsibilities: • Provide friendly and professional customer service, greeting customers as they enter and leave • Accurately process sales using cash and electronic payment systems • Maintain store presentation, including cleaning, stock replenishment, and displays • Assist with stock counts and other day-to-day tasks • Contribute positively as a team member, supporting colleagues and the smooth • running of the store
Job Requirements
• Minimum 6 months’ retail experience, including cash handling • Trustworthy, reliable, and detail-oriented • Strong work ethic and a team player • Good communication skills and willingness to assist with all aspects of the store • Flexible availability, including weekends • Reliable transport is a must

- 32 hrs per wk. roster (2 days off) Weekends: Saturday & Sunday Store Hrs: 6am 8pm Start and finish times can be negotiated (32 hours per week)
