Traffic Management Worker - Full Training Provided

A traffic management company is seeking motivated individuals to join their Nelson team in permanent traffic management roles. There are positions available for both Class 1 and Class 2 licensed applicants.
No experience? No problem! Full training is provided.
**Successful applicants must be available to attend a fully-funded training programme in Wellington from the 16th - 20th of February. Graduates will start work shortly after finishing the course. **
About the Role
• Setting up and removing traffic control equipment (cones, signs, barriers) • Assisting traffic controllers on-site • Identifying and reporting hazards • Following safety procedures to support safe and efficient traffic flow
Job Requirements
• Strong communication and people skills • Good English language skills with clear pronunciation for radio communication • Ability to work shift work and be comfortable standing for long periods • Willingness to travel away from home for work occasionally • Must be physically fit • Class 1 licence required; Class 2 licence holders strongly encouraged to apply • Own transport preferred • Availability for interviews between 26 January – 5 February and available to attend the training course 16th - 20th February in Wellington. • Ability to pass a drug test and Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check
