A Papakura based employer is looking for a reliable Butcher to join their busy team. Key responsibilities: • Cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products to required standards • Ensuring cleanliness and food safety practices are upheld at all times • Maintaining accurate stock levels and assisting with inventory • Providing excellent customer service when required • Working safely and efficiently as part of a team
Job Requirements
-Relevant experience as a butcher or in a meat processing role -willing to train someone who has basic butchery skills -confident using knives -the role does require some counter/customer service experience so must be confident dealing with the public -clean, well groomed and well spoken -Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment -Must have restricted licence and reliable transport -must be reliable -Must pass police and pre employment drug test, (Clean MOJ) -be able to be on your feet for long periods
