Kerbside Bin Collection Driver – Class 4
About this job
We’re looking for a reliable and safety-focused Class 4 Driver to join a kiwi owned waste management team based in Silverdale. This role involves operating a one-arm bandit collection vehicle to collect council kerbside wheelie bins on scheduled routes. Some basic on site training to operate class 4 trucks will be provided to the ideal candidate.
Key responsibilities: • Operating a one-arm bandit collection truck • Collecting kerbside council wheelie bins • Following set routes and schedules • Completing work safely, efficiently, and professionally • Maintaining vehicle and site safety standards

Job Requirements
Essential requirements:
• Must have some truck driving exp • Full Class 4 driver licence • Clear communication skills in English • Trustworthy, reliable, and safety-conscious • Strong driving history with no accidents preferred • Open to drivers who have recently upgraded from Class 2 to Class 4 • Must live within approximately 30 minutes of the Silverdale region • Must be able to pass the drug test
Awesome to have (but not essential): • Previous rubbish or waste management experience • Swinglift truck experience • Side-arm / one-arm bandit vehicle experience
