Are you an experienced Class 5 Truck Driver who enjoys long-haul driving and seeing the country? A growing transportation company based in Papatoetoe is on the lookout for reliable, skilled drivers to join our line haul team.
This role offers exciting long-distance runs between Auckland, Palmerston North, Wellington and Christchurch. If you’re flexible, safety-focused, and ready for both day and night shifts then we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities: • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety compliance • Perform basic preventative maintenance checks • Plan routes and meet delivery schedules • Comply with all transport regulations, including size, weight, routes, and rest breaks • Follow company policies and procedures at all times • Collect and verify delivery instructions • Ensure loads are secured correctly and accurately recorded • Report defects, accidents, or violations promptly • Manoeuvre trucks into loading and unloading positions safely • Complete and manage logbooks accurately

Job Requirements
Requirements: • Current Class 5 Driver’s Licence • Minimum 2 years’ experience operating line haul truck and trailer units • Dangerous Goods (DG) and Forklift licences required • Physically fit, with the ability to perform some lifting • Flexible to work weekends, nights, and outside standard hours • Willing to work both day and night shifts • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug & alcohol testing • Clean driving record and ability to pass a criminal background check • Strong knowledge of emergency procedures and hazardous conditions • Proficient in spoken English
