Flat Bush based Thai restaurant is looking for a Cook to join their team in a full-time position.
In this role you will be preparing and cooking Thai cuisine dishes in a commercial kitchen environment.
Duties include: - food preparation - cooking according to recipes - plating and presentation - maintaining food safety and hygiene standards - cleaning work areas and equipment - supporting day to day kitchen operations during service
Job Requirements
-Previous experience working in a professional kitchen. (minimum 2 years experience needed), Experience with Thai or Asian cuisine . Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements. Reliable and able to work as part of a team. Be able to be on your feet for long periods Be flexible on weekends/public holidays
- Days of work
- 5–6 days per week, rostered shifts within business operating hours. 32 -40hours Shifts times are between 11.30am - 10pm (32 hours per week)
