A liquor shop in Howick is looking for a shift Manager. Apply only if you have a Duty Manager Liquor License.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Supervise day-to-day store operationsand assist in ensuring smooth workflow during shifts. • Manage and coordinate store staff, including scheduling, training, and performance guidance. • Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper display and rotation of the products. • Maintain compliance with liquor licensing, health, and safety regulations. • Assist with customer service, handle inquiries, and resolve escalated issues promptly. • Support sales initiatives and promotional activities to meet store targets. • Prepare shift reports and provide updates to store management on operations, stock, and staff performance. • Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and safe for staff and customers. • Carry out stock pick-up and delivery duties as required, ensuring safe handling and timely transport of products.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience is required. • Available to work on weekends and late evening shifts. • A valid full driver’s license is required. • Fluent English is mandatory. • Must have excellent time management and multitasking abilities. • The candidate should be hardworking, passionate, and detail oriented. • Must be able to remain calm and composed under pressure. • The candidate may also be required to travel within the region for the performance of duties and the cost of travel and fuel will be covered by the employer.
