Cleaning Supervisor

A Tauranga based employer is looking for a Cleaning Supervisor. This role involves contacting new clients to schedule service times and dates.- Regularly check in with clients to assess satisfaction with the standard of services provided.- Address and resolve customer issues effectively and in a timely manner.- Record instances of missed or cancelled cleans from clients.- Maintain a comprehensive record of current active clients and their specific requirements.- Provide the employer with detailed client lists and requirements. Perform cleaning duties to a high standard and assist workers in completing tasks promptly.- Conduct site inspections to determine scope and labour needs prior to commencing work.- Sign-off jobs with clients and handle any special requests.- Inspect completed jobs for quality assurance, performing touch-ups as necessary.- Rectify any site-related issues arising from work quality Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring stock levels are adequate and storage is organized. The work locations are Papamoa, Tauranga, Omokoroa and Katikati. You will be required to use your own vehicle, you can claim travel allowance if your milage exceeds 20kms per job.

Coordinate staff activities including rostering, monitoring attendance, and collecting timesheets. - Train new hires on their duties, responsibilities, and proper use of cleaning equipment. - Assess potential candidates for recruitment. Ensure compliance with company health and safety standards among staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Proficient with technology and detail-oriented. - Friendly and professional demeanour when dealing with clients on-site. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as a self-starter. - Problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability to changing environments. - Strong desire for continuous learning and taking on new challenges. Minimum of 1 year experience in the service industry or NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification.
