A local Mariri orchard is looking for Apple Pickers to join their team for harvest from approximately mid-late Feb to end of May. This role involves picking the best fruit from a tree to standards given by the supervisor. If you enjoy working in outdoor conditions, are energetic, super reliable, and have a great eye for attention to detail this is the job for you!
Job Requirements
You will need to have a good level of fitness and strength for heavy lifting as the role requires picking fruit into a picking bag worn on shoulders and working from a ladder at 2.4metres. You must be ok with working from heights and have reliable transport. Transport may be available from central Motueka. Criminal convictions are considered on a case by case basis.
