Apple & Pear Pickers

We’re looking for reliable and hardworking orchard workers to join our apple & pear picking team in Lower Moutere for approx start mid- February 2026 until mid-May. We might carry some staff to complete the pruning season with us.
This is a physically demanding, hands-on role that is essential to producing high-quality fruit. You’ll be on your feet all day, climbing a 2.4m high ladder, lifting bags of picked fruit, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. This role is perfect for people who enjoy hard work, being part of a collaborative team, and taking pride in the quality of their work. You won’t need your gym subscription – get fit (and paid) while working for us!
Job Requirements
We are looking for the candidates that are able to complete the full picking season with us (approx. 3 months). You must be physically fit. Work is weather dependent.
- Days of work
- 7.30am – 5pm; (9-hr days). You must be available to work weekends, as we operate 7 days a week during harvest. (45 hours per week)

- $23.50 + 8% holiday pay AND contract (piece) rates.
