Vegetable Harvester

About this job Connings Market Garden in Hope requires Harvesting and planting staff, with work from now until 31.08.2026. • We are hiring motivated workers to assist with planting and harvesting fresh produce to meet quality and quantity targets. • Tasks include planting, harvesting, grading, sorting, and packing vegetables with speed and accuracy. • Support seasonal tasks under the direction of the Harvest Supervisor or Team Leader. • Work as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently while following health and safety protocols.

We utilise tractors and mechanical harvest aids wherever possible to minimize manual handling. However, this position does involve physical tasks, so you must be fit and capable of performing them.

Physical Capability Requirements: • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods (up to 9 hours). • Must be able to lift and carry crates or boxes (up to 15kg). • Fast and repetitive hand movements required. • No criminal convictions.

Other requirements • Able to follow verbal and written instructions. • Strong attention to detail for quality control. • Reliable and punctual. • Team player with a positive attitude. • Own transport required • Must maintain current driver’s license.
