About this job
Assist in providing rehabilitative, restorative and/or skill care to elderly residents in need of assistance with activities of daily living. Maintain personal and professional work standards. Maintain Safety support and safety standards to support the team within the facility. Contribute to the effective running of the facility according to regulations and procedures. Contribute to the development of the facility by active participation in decision making, discussion, documentation and quality assurance programs. Accept responsibility for ongoing self development. Administer medications to residents under the directions of a registered nurse.
Job Requirements
Must be of good character, kind, caring, empathetic, enthusiastic, reliable and hard working. Experience in aged care is preferred. Must have the ability to pass an MOJ – no criminals convictions
