Home Care Support Worker

Our aim is to support people to maintain independence and have the best quality of life. We are currently looking for a part time Support Worker to help support our residents within our homes providing 24/7 care.

Your role will be to provide physical and social support to allow individuals to participate in everyday life as independently as possible in their home and community.

Duties include but are not limited to: • supporting young adults with disabilities in their everyday personal care. • Other duties required in this position are to assist with domestic duties such as kitchen, food prep and cleaning..

Days and hours: • 2 on 4 off roster: 4.30pm to 8.30pm + 7.00am to 1.00pm Saturday & Sunday (occasionally) • Must have availability to work weekends as per roster. • This role offers 12 hours per week.

Pay Rate: To be discussed at the interview stage.

You must have the below prerequisites to be considered for this role: • You will be reliable, honest, and flexible in the hours and days that you are able to work as our employer is 24 hours, 7 days a week operation. • Hold a Full 1 Drivers Licence and Own Transport. • Have ( or be able to get ) a First Aid Cert • Be able to pass a Police Security Clearance, as part of the employment process. • Be willing to work and turn up when required. • An updated CV with contactable references • A current open Work Visa if not a NZ Resident.
