Waiter

Greeting guests and escorting them to tables in a professional and courteous manner • Presenting menus, explaining menu items, and providing information on food and beverage options • Taking food and beverage orders accurately and entering them into the point-of-sale (POS) system • Serving food and beverages in accordance with service standards and hygiene regulations • Ensuring timely delivery of meals and drinks while maintaining presentation quality • Checking customer satisfaction during service and responding appropriately to requests or issues • Clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and maintaining cleanliness of service areas • Handling cash, EFTPOS, and other payment transactions accurately • Complying with food safety, health, and workplace safety requirements at all times • Assisting with setup and pack-down for functions, events, and conference services • Supporting bar service and room service operations when required

What you will bring to the role Solid F&B experience in a similar position using Point-of-Sale systems, maintaining food and beverage items, presentation of restaurants and engaging guests. A passion for providing exceptional service and guest experiences. An eye for cleanliness, organization, and presentation. Willingness to learn and a “can do” attitude Ability to work with grace under pressure and resolve issues effectively Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal A collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
