Courier Driver
About this job
The Urgent Courier Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery and collection of goods, with a focus on urgent and time-sensitive consignments. This role requires reliability, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Drivers must also hold a current Full Class 1 and Dangerous Goods (DG) licence (or willing to get DG) to ensure compliance when transporting restricted or hazardous items. Full training will be provided.
Job Requirements
Must be able to drive a manual transmission Must hold a full class 1 license, Dangerous Goods licence is also required Knowledge of courier systems, GPS, and mobile dispatch applications (advantageous, training provided). Clean driving record and ability to pass background/security checks (MOJ & Drug Testing). Must meet medical and fitness-for-work requirements, including the ability to safely handle freight and work in a high-demand transport environment.
