Landscape Foreman

A Morningside-based gardening and landscaping business is seeking an experienced and motivated Foreman to join their team.

This role is a hands-on position with an even split between landscaping projects and ongoing garden maintenance.

Responsibilities include leading and working alongside a small team, coordinating daily tasks, setting out work from plans, site preparation, planting, soil improvement, landscape construction (including paving, edging, and minor carpentry), and maintaining high standards across high end residential sites.

The Foreman will take responsibility for managing onsite works, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and safely, while also delivering high-quality gardening outcomes and supporting team development.

Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in landscaping, including at least 1 year in a site supervision or foreman role.

Know your way around excavations, site works, and pool construction like a pro

Can read detailed plans and profile sites with precision.

Strong leadership skills, a positive attitude and the ability to manage and motivate a team while remaining hands-on.

Genuine passion for working outdoors year-round and excellent physical fitness

Must hold a full Class 1 NZ Driver’s Licence with reliable transport.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice check, and provide at least two recent work references.
