Food & Beverage Attendant (Permanent role)

A Taupo hotel is looking for a permanent Food and Beverage Attendant to join their busy team. Duties will include : Helping set up the restaurant and function rooms for different dining times and menu Serving food and beverages to guests Assisting the team to clean the dining room and conference rooms Taking food and drink orders Calculating bills and taking payment Carrying out other duties relevant to the role Some previous experience is advantageous, but having a positive and friendly attitude and willingness to learn and support your teammates is highly valued. Candidates will need to be available 7 days a week on a rotating roster. Hours are a minimum of 20 per week, averaging a min. 4 hours per shift, 5 days a week

Candidates will need to be available 7 days a week on a rotating roster, working a minimum 4 hours per shift, 5 evenings a week. They should also meet the following requirements: • Have a positive, friendly attitude • Groomed and well-presented • Calm, organised and efficient • Able to learn how to use Point of Sale systems • Be reliable and on time • Willing to work and learn • Able to communicate clearly • Have good maths and English skills • Must be able to pass an MOJ check Customer-facing experience is advantageous, and training is given, so if you can meet the above requirements please contact us.
