A North Shore based civil works contractor is seeking an experienced Hammer Hand to join their team. In this role you will Install timber structures - retaining walls - civil carpentry components Construct formwork and boxing for concrete pours Assist with concrete pours Finishing and general construction support Support site setup and daily civil tasks Follow correct safety procedures and embrace a Health and Safety culture Contribute to a positive work environment Complete tasks to a high quality and on time Communicate with your teammates, clients, other contractors, and suppliers.
Job Requirements
Two or more years of experience as a hammer hand Valid clean, full class 1 NZ driver’s licence Reliable mode of transport Basic literacy and numeracy skills Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability Physically fit as this role can be repetitive and physical at times Able to pass a Drug test and Ministry of Justice check Able to work Saturdays

- 7:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 2:00pm Saturday (40 hours per week)
