Orchard Hands - permanent role

A Motueka Orchard is looking for general orchard hands to join their team. This can be an entry level opportunity or a role for an experienced orchard hand. Work will involve a mix of all roles including picking , pruning , netting , tractor use, spraying, or any other orchard related work. Any training will be provided on the job. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, reliable, and have a great attitude.
Job Requirements
•Physically fit and be able to maintain moderate to High level of activity for 9 hours • Weight restrictions due to ladder health and safety requirements. • Need to have good balance as staff are required to constantly climb up and down ladders • All criminal convictions must be disclosed and the decision of hiring the candidate will be at the complete discretion of the employer • Able to follow written and verbal instructions • Attention to details • Need to be motivated • Quality Focused • Own transportation as farms are spread out in various locations. • Must maintain current driver’s license. ***Application form required***

- Monday – Saturdays (Need to be available on Sundays if whether dictates) 45- 50 Hours (7.30 am to 5 pm) (40 hours per week)
